Each title reads as a full little sentence with a subject and verb, not just a name or phrase. I Am Bread is the bluntest possible identity crisis. I Am Fish repeats the structure with a different unlucky creature. You Are Empty turns the sentence outward at the player. We Were Here makes the verb past tense and turns the title into a trace someone left behind.
