Spoilers ahead: for the puzzle and the movies/games
This post assumes you've already solved the puzzle. It reveals all categories and their connections, and discusses plot details, endings, and spoilers for featured movies/games throughout.
I Love You, Colonel Sanders! treats a fast-food mascot as a romance option and somehow keeps a straight face longer than the player can. It was published by KFC. The chicken company has lore now.
Games: Dragon Ball: The Breakers · Secret Neighbor · Resident Evil Resistance · Last Year
The Breakers puts one Raider against seven ordinary survivors. Resident Evil Resistance gives a Mastermind control of traps and monsters while four players attempt to escape.
Secret Neighbor hides its threat among the children. Last Year lets one Fiend stalk five survivors and set up ambushes. The teams are uneven by design, which is comforting right until you remember which side has the monster.
Games: Star Fox 64 · Indigo Prophecy · Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando · Disaster Report
Star Fox 64 became Lylat Wars in PAL regions. Fahrenheit was sold as Indigo Prophecy in North America, while Going Commando became Locked & Loaded in much of Europe.
Disaster Report reached Europe as SOS: The Final Escape. These are not subtitles added later. They are parallel identities, created because somebody in a meeting decided the first name could not cross an ocean unsupervised.
Games: Submerged · Highwater · Floodland · Sea of Solitude
Submerged removes combat and lets its drowned city become a climbing and boating space. Highwater divides its climate-struck world into islands, roads, and exclusion zones.
Floodland turns the aftermath into settlement management. Sea of Solitude makes a flooded city carry emotional meaning rather than engineering detail. Water is not a level hazard here. It has rewritten the map.
Games: Monster Prom · Sucker for Love: First Date · Hooked on You: A Dead by Daylight Dating Sim · I Love You, Colonel Sanders! A Finger Lickin' Good Dating Simulator
Monster Prom makes dating competitive multiplayer. Sucker for Love asks the player to court Lovecraftian entities, a plan with obvious long-term compatibility concerns.
Hooked on You sends Dead by Daylight killers to a beach resort. Colonel Sanders closes the row with branding so aggressive that the full title barely fits on one breath. Horror monsters and fried chicken stop looking random and start looking dateable. Against medical advice.
The regional-title row proves names are fragile. CineLinkr #198 changes the shape of the entire frame, which is harder to fit on a box.
